May our studies be ENLIGHTENING Om Santih santih santih.

My intense yoga teacher studies are progressing well. I have a good rappour and growing friendships with my fellow students on Yoga Academy TT8 course. I'm an enthausiatic trainee yoga teacher and have several friends within MS community and beyound. They know I am training and so limited to the advice i can give (None - just my humble opinion) but are letting me practice my techniques, testing me on my knowledge that could help them and testing me from my knowledge anatomy to philosophical understanding - and all othe aspects.

My own practice and classes I continue to attend classes, and assist with my yoga friends. Additional costs will be payable when I attend the necessary appropriately assessed or observed classes, as part of my teacher training, (I will forward the details when i know them)

A separately factor but relevant to yoga's influence and following my inspiration, Fiona Agombar has designed with a help of a friend with MS specific a training module for existing teachers phttp://inspirationalsmiles.blogspot.com/2009/11/teacher-training-intensive-teaching.html Fiona's workshop is to be held at the Special Yoga Center, Kensal Rise NW8 first weekend in March. Even though I am only a trainee teacher I have will be attending, at Fiona's invitation, and completion will receive ceritification of this specific MS related Yoga teacher training qualification. It would be wonderful Professional development if physio's could attend the workshop in addition to Yoga Teacher trainers. I informed my yoga teacher friends and also physio's i know to take advantage of this specialist course. It is this course, they have asked people with MS to take advanatage of a free yoga lesson. Health and Yoga.

There were, may still be some problems getting the MS society link to those who wanted to support the MS society. I offered my assistance and Keith from Prime Impact organised a direct link to my story on the MS society website.

At the yoga show I met Lizzie from the MS society. Another good reason to visit MS society

In my spare time, I am forever the optimist, I hope to do some promotion for the MS Society and specifically the Croydon Branch of the MS Society. I will be regularly attending the Special Yoga Centre, and perhaps one day I can help a Yoga and wholistic centre based in Croydon, but at the moment it is just a distant dream.

  1. I love the final photo- what a great representation of life!

I found the teacher training observation section to be so helpful. I have many students who now observe my teaching now and I try to be extra attentive to their questions or concerns. I'm glad to read you're able to experience this!

I found around the middle to the end of my trainings to be the hardest. Remember why you train (for yourself one and to share with others the benefits) and be kind to your body & mind.

I'm so stoked on the amazing support you are receiving from the MS and Yoga community! Fiona is the BomB! Can't express my appreciation for your introducing us!

Keep rockin your Practice and your training Karen! You inspire me!
    xo- Suz
